🚌 It’s Bus Safety Week! Thank you to Mr. Ford and our amazing bus drivers who work hard to make sure our students get to school safely every day!
👮‍♀️This week they are teaming up with local law enforcement agencies for Bus Safety Week. You may even see a police officer following our buses to school!
🌟Our Safety Patrol is also doing a great job making sure we are making safe choices before and after school. They completed a training with Mr. Ryan and Mrs. Gaver and have been working hard every day!

🌟Congratulations to Ms. Turner who was recognized as the September Teacher of the Month by Swindler and Sons Florist! She received beautiful flowers from them. We are lucky to have Ms. Turner at CMES! Her nomination is included below.🌺

Congratulations to Ms. Tricia Turner of Clinton-Massie Elementary School, our September Teacher of the Month!
One parent shared this heartfelt nomination:
"Ms. Turner has taught both of my non-verbal, non-mobile children—first in second grade and now again in fourth grade. She goes above and beyond to ensure that not only my children, but every child in her classroom, feels included, valued, and truly welcome. Her students know they are cared for, and they are always excited to be part of her classroom community. She takes the time to learn each child’s interests, attends their sporting events, and even sends cards throughout the school year and summer. Her classroom doesn’t just feel like a place to learn—it feels like a family."

5th grade and 2nd grade Buddies kicked off last week! This is a fun tradition that the 5th graders and 2nd graders look forward to. Stay tuned for more pictures this year of the fun things they do together!

It was a busy day at CMES! We celebrated our Top Table Ticket winners, Falcon Buck winners and announced our September Falcon of the Month recipients!
