Congratulations to Ms. Tricia Turner of Clinton-Massie Elementary School, our September Teacher of the Month!

"Ms. Turner has taught both of my non-verbal, non-mobile children—first in second grade and now again in fourth grade. She goes above and beyond to ensure that not only my children, but every child in her classroom, feels included, valued, and truly welcome. Her students know they are cared for, and they are always excited to be part of her classroom community. She takes the time to learn each child’s interests, attends their sporting events, and even sends cards throughout the school year and summer. Her classroom doesn’t just feel like a place to learn—it feels like a family."
